Guidelines for the Morphological Evaluation

The guidelines (click here to read them or download them) which we are publishing here, drawn up at the request of the A.I.C. (Associazione Italiana Celiachia) in the person of the President Adriano Pucci and the President of the Scientific Committee A.I.C. Prof. Umberto Volta, have the modest aim to provide doctors with an element that can permit a uniform methodological approach and morphological diagnosis.

We hope that this contribution, which deals with the various questions in an extremely clear and simple way, can be the stimulus for a continuous improvement in relations with clinicians and can provide the patient with an increasingly certain and precise diagnosis.
